Karma's Sometimes Kind

I don't have my own income yet, and still live with my grandparents. I went into the grocery store alone for the first time ever with five dollars, in order to get my grandparents a bag of ice. At the checkout line, I saw a candy that looked really good, so I put it on the conveyor belt with the ice. I got a little suspicious of the cost that was given to me, and asked if the cashier had seen the candy next to the massive bag of ice. She had not, and so when it was taken into account, my five dollars was a fair few cents under. I was sadly putting the candy back when another employee who was watching offered to buy it for me. I like to think that employee's presence and inclination towards kindness was a reward from something out there for not lying about the candy.
